If you’re a man and another man opens a door for you, just graciously say “thank you” and go through the door. Save “after you” for women and children.

Escalator etiquette: stand on the right, walk on the left.

Until further notice: a gentleman is not to wear an Elizabethan collar.

A gentleman knows and adheres to the rules of crowd etiquette.

A gentleman’s respect for others comes before succumbing to his fanaticism.

A gentleman treats sports with reverence.

A gentleman fosters camaraderie.

A gentleman gives timeless gifts.

A gentleman is a good steward of each minute.

It is appropriate for a gentleman to employ proper grammar, finely structured sentences, clever banter and sarcastic wit in his writing - even if it pertains to gambling.
